Hello fellow dog parents, cat roommates, and animal friends! Today we’re looking at the best cordless vacuums for pet hair. There is a time and place for the robustness of the big, corded vacuums, but if you can get away with a cordless, why not?

Perks of cordless vacuums:

  • Lighter
  • Not tripping (or vacuuming) over the cord
  • No stopping, unplugging/replugging when you run out of cord length
  • More maneuverable in small spaces (small apartments, lookin’ atchu)
  • Easier to carry on stairs in multi-level home
  • Some can be used easily in the car, and since it’s cordless, you don’t need to have a plug available near where you park

Things to look for in a cordless vacuum for pets

Weight

If it’s too heavy, what’s the point in a cordless?

Container/bag capacity

If you’re picking up a lot of hair, dirt, and dust, container capacity matters so you don’t have to stop every couple minutes to empty to vacuum.

Battery life

Cordless vacuums run on a battery charge. If you have a larger space to clean, you’ll want a longer-lasting battery.

Accessories

If you can find accessories to fit your vacuum (whether they’re included or separate) that work particularly well for pet hair, that can make or break your vacuum choice. There are some really useful accessories, and there are some that you’ll just never use.

Filter

If you have a lot of pet hair and dandruff floating around, and especially if you suffer from allergies, you’ll want to pay attention to the filtration system of your vacuum.

  • Check to see if it’s a seal-system – meaning that it has virtually no air leakage and won’t send particles that you’ve just vacuumed up back into the air.
  • Also check to see if it has a HEPA filter, which is particularly good at catching all those irritating allergins.

Can it be used in the car?

If you take your animals on car rides on the regular you may want to look for a vacuum that will be particularly capable in cleaning the car.

Budget

This is a biggie, of course. What’s your vacuum budget? Pets are expensive in general, but I think all pet parents can agree they’re well worth the cost. The ideal is to find a vacuum that you can afford that will help improve the environment you and your pet spend so much time in. Think of a pet vacuum as an investment that you may want to prepare to spend a little extra on, but you should be able to find something in your range no matter what.

How does it handle pet hair

This is a massive deal for a cordless pet vacuum. Can it handle pet hair? How much? On carpet and hard floor? All the above points culminate in this one.

The vacuums on this site are evaluated based on features that benefit pet owners in particular.

Some key points are:

  1. Battery life
  2. Dust cup capacity
  3. Price
  4. Car friendly
  5. LED lights
  6. Weight
  7. Allergy friendliness

….Plus several more.

We evaluate vacuums based on these feature points and look at which ones check the most boxes, and what features each vacuum excels with or lacks.

There are a lot of vacuum reviews out there, and if you want to see some more in-depth info I’ll be linking to some of those more detail-packed articles. Personally, I find the amount of info a little bit overwhelming, so I wanted to create a guide to the best cordless pet vacuums that boiled it down to the basics.

The cordless vacuums in this list are ordered by how they scored overall on the pet vacuum features chart (the results surprised me, which is kinda fun) but I’m also including some details on what exactly each vacuum does well.

1. MOOSOO 17K/23Kpa cordless

MOOSOO Cordless Vacuum, 23Kpa

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Budget, lightweight, LED searchlight, small area cleaning, anti-hair-wrap brush.

THE PRICE: This cordless vac is very budget-friendly, but does get beat out by a couple of others on this list, including the Moosoo XL-618A. See price here

SUPER-LIGHTWEIGHT: At 2.84lbs this is a great pick for someone worried about dragging around a heavy vacuum.

CAR-FRIENDLY: This stick vacuum does break down into a handheld version, making it ideal for car cleanups.

DETACHABLE BATTERY: The battery in the Moosoo 17K is replaceable, but needs to be charged while in the vacuum.

FUR-PICKUP: A different brush design with wide spaces in between short bristles helps this vacuum handle pet hair better than many vacuums.

LED: Yes

POWER AND NOISE LEVELS: This vacuum is slightly more powerful than the Moosoo XL-618A at ~39CFM and 200 watts, and has a similar noise output around 65-70dB. Nothin’ to write home about, but plenty to get most jobs done.

DUST CUP CAPACITY: The Moosoo 17K has a dust bin capacity of ~.5 liters. Respectable, but not top of the list.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: This vacuum does come with a washable HEPA filter BUT is not a completely sealed system so there could be some allergens released back into the air.

BATTERY LIFE: Around 30 minutes of runtime.

More detailed review of the Moosoo K17 here

  • Budget is very important, but you’ll pay a little more for a little extra power
  • Reduced hair wrapping is a priority
  • Weight is a TOP priority
  • You want to be able to vacuum up your car after taking the dogs out
  • Allergies aren’t a major issue for you
  • You want a relatively quiet vacuum, but aren’t particularly worried about noise
  • You want an LED on the vacuum head to help see hair and dust clumps
  • You have a smaller area to vacuum and/or don’t mind emptying a bin a couple of times – so you DON’T NEED a very big dust container

2. MOOSOO Cordless 4-in-1 XL-618A

Moosoo Cordless Vacuum 4-in-1 Lightweight Stick

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Budget, lightweight, light pet hair cleanup, car vacuuming.

THE PRICE: This Moosoo is one of the best priced vacuums on this list. See price here

WEIGHT: It beats out almost every other stick vacuum here on weight at only 3.3lbs.

DETACHABLE BATTERY: The battery pack detaches from the vacuum so there’s the potential to switch it out for a longer runtime.

CAR-FRIENDLY: This cordless vacuum can be broken down into a handheld version, which is great for vacuuming up after your dog has been in the car.

DUST CUP SIZE 1.3 liters is a very respectable size for a cordless stick vacuum, the advantage of larger capacity being that you don’t have to empty it as often. Especially useful if you have multiple pets in your home or a larger home to clean in general.

LED: Yes

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: Washable HEPA filtration BUT the Moosoo 618A doesn’t have a complete seal, meaning some allergens can escape back into the air.

BATTERY LIFE: The XL-618A has a decent battery life of approximately 30 minutes.

NOISE/POWER LEVELS: The noise level of this vacuum is around 70dB, not terrible, not great, but could be considered more on the quiet side for a vacuum. Likewise, the suction power is not the strongest available, but will generally get the job done.

HAIR-HANDLING: This vacuum will clean up pet hair, but you will have to clean the brush fairly frequently. ***Use the hose attachments to help clean up big hair clumps before using the main cleaner head.

CHARGING TIME: This cordless vac has a relatively long charge time of 5 hours.

See a more detailed review here

  • Budget and lightweight are priorities.
  • You’re not overly concerned about allergies
  • You keep vacuuming sessions under 30 minutes (or are willing to buy a 2nd battery)
  • You want a vacuum you can use in your car
  • An LED light on the head is important
  • You want a quieter vacuum, but it’s not a big concern (i.e. you can put your pets in another room while you vacuum so they don’t freak out)*
  • You’re ok with not having MAX power, and knowing that you’re going to have to clean hair off the roller brush

*Just a quick note: Never chase your pets around or intentionally startle them with your vacuum. Even if it can seem harmless or funny, it could hurt the trust between you and your pet, and stress them out unnecessarily.

3. Tineco A10 Hero Cordless Stick Vacuum

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Lightweight, budget, short-hair pickup, small area cleaning, car cleaning.

PRICE: Although not the cheapest vacuum on the list, this Tineco still holds it’s own well below the $200 price point, so it’s a great option for people looking for a budget pet vac. See price here

WEIGHT: Slightly heavier than the Moosoo 17K, slightly lighter than the Moosoo XL-618A, at 2.87lbs it’s still one of the lightest cordless stick vacuums on the market.

CAR-FRIENDLY: Because this vacuum breaks down into a smaller handheld version, it’s ideal for helping you clean the car.

DETACHABLE BATTERY: Yes, it has a replaceable battery, which is always a good thing in my book.

LED: Yes

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: This vacuum does have a HEPA filtration system that should take care of most allergy-related issues, but I wasn’t able to verify it being a truly sealed system, which I would be skeptical of anyways in this price range.

HAIR-PICKUP: It handles pet hair decently, but is recommended for short hair more than long. You will probably end up needing to clean the roller brush and hair does sometimes get stuck in the dust cup. It also comes with a pet hair attachment.

RUNTIME: The battery life of this Tineco is approximately 25 minutes, which is decent but not great.

NOISE LEVEL: The loudness of this vacuum ranges from around 70dB to 80dB, so on max power, it’s not quiet.

DUST CUP CAPACITY: This cordless Tineco has a small dust cup (.4 liters) which means it’s not the best pick for larger areas or lots of hair.

See a more detailed review here

  • This is one of the lightest vacuums here
  • Price: Around $150, making it one of the best priced cordless vacuums here
  • It breaks down into a car-friendly handheld for easy vehicle cleanup
  • The runtime isn’t bad, but you can get a second battery to use it even longer
  • It’s not the best for large spaces because of a small dust cup that will need to be emptied often
  • It has a HEPA filter, which makes it a good pick in this price range, but not the best overall if allergies are a big concern
  • It has an LED on the brush head which is always helpful for seeing dust and hair as you clean

Tineco A10 Video Overview

4. Shark Rocket Pet Pro Cordless Stick Vacuum with Self-Cleaning Brushroll

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

A self-cleaning brush, allergies, longer than average runtime/large areas, headlight to see extra fur and debris.

TANGLE-FREE BRUSH: Shark has created a “self-cleaning” brush design that makes use of “fins” rather than the normal vacuum bristles. This makes the vacuum particularly helpful for pet owners looking for a solution to hair-wrap on vacuum cleaners.

CAR-FRIENDLY: The dust cup on this vac is nicely compact which helps make it easy to use in the car.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: This vacuum boasts both a fully-sealed system and HEPA filtration.

RUNTIME: Up to 40 minutes of battery life on one charge, just keep in mind battery life, as with all cordless vacuums, depends on what settings you’re using.

REMOVABLE BATTERY: The Shark Rocket Pet Pro does have a removable battery, so if you’re looking to vacuum a larger space you may want to look into purchasing a 2nd battery.

LED: Yes.

POWER: The power level on this cordless is a little above average, which, in combination with the self-cleaning brush roll, makes it a good choice for pet owners.

PRICE: This is in the low/average price range for cordless vacuums. It can generally be found for under $300. See price here

WEIGHT: This is one of the heavier options on this list of cordless vacuums, but it’s still only 7.17lbs.

DUST CUP CAPACITY: This is a fairly small dust cup at .34 quarts, which can be a problem if you’re working on a bigger area or have longer pet hair to deal with since it can get wrapped up in the container.

See in-depth review here

  • The tangle-free/self-cleaning brush is the star of this show, it’s always nice to see a manufacturer really trying to innovate on behalf of pet owners.
  • The power is nothing to write home about but is above average and can handle most jobs because of that.
  • The runtime on this vacuum is pretty impressive for a stick, and it allows for a replaceable battery so you could potentially use it even longer.
  • The dust cup size is an issue, and unfortunately conflicts with the longer runtime, because even if you can use it longer, you may need to stop to clean out the cup.

5. Dyson V11 Animal Cordless Vacuum

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Power/Suction, large home cleanup, carpet, long & short pet hair pick up, carpet, lots of hair, allergies.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: Fully sealed with HEPA filtration, this is going to be one of the best cordless vacuums for people with pet allergies or allergies in general.

POWER: This is one of the best pet vacuums on this list in terms of power, and really only gets beat out by other Dysons. Dyson generally excels where suction is concerned, which makes Dyson vacuums some of the best for handling pet hair.

BATTERY LIFE: The V11 boasts roughly 60 minutes of runtime, which is great for a cordless vacuum and means that you can use it even in large homes.

CAR-FRIENDLY: With the combination of power, ability to use as a handheld, and motorized accessories, this is no doubt one of the best cordless options for cleaning up after your pet in the car.

PET HAIR PICKUP: This cordless vacuum does very well with pet hair. It has enough suction to stop the head from getting clogged and helps prevent hair wrapping on the brush head.

DUST CUP CAPACITY: This Dyson’s dust cup is among the largest available for cordless vacuums (although it does get out-ranked by a couple of others on this list) at a little under 1 liter, which makes it ideal for lots of pet hair and debris in larger homes.

PRICE: This is not a budget vacuum. It certainly makes the argument that “you get what you pay for” but you’ll be paying plenty. See price here

WEIGHT: Although 6.68lbs does not make it the heaviest vacuum on this list, it’s certainly one of them.

NO LIGHT: To some this may not matter, but for this price it would be nice to get a headlight.

See more detailed rundown here

  • With the V11 Animal Dyson really delivers on the power and the runtime
  • It’s going to be one of the best cordless vacuums for pet hair thanks to the power and the large dust cup capacity.
  • If you’re concerned about allergies, it has both HEPA filtration and a fully sealed system, PLUS is has a cool easy-empty design that makes it even less likely you’ll have allergy issues when you empty to dust bin.
  • It is PRICEY, so you have to be ready to hand over some cash.
  • If you’re really concerned about weight, this may not be the best choice for you, but it is still under 7lbs which isn’t bad overall.

6. Tineco S12 Plus

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Power, allergies, longer runtime, carpet, short pet fur, noise level.

POWER: Dyson tends to be the go-to choice for power, but with the S12, Tineco has created a rival stick vacuum for suction and power, even outdoing some Dyson models.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: Sealed system and HEPA filtration make this a great choice for pet owners worried about allergies.

RUNTIME: The Tineco S12 Plus runs for up to 50 minutes (per battery) and comes with 2 batteries, giving you up to 100 minutes of use.

CAR-FRIENDLY: This cordless vacuum does break down into a fairly compact handheld version. That plus the excellent power makes this great for cleaning up the car.

ACCESSORIES GALORE: If you love having the exact right tool for every occasion, Tineco doesn’t disappoint. You can a huge number of useful attachments with this cordless, including a small motorized tool which is always helpful for getting pet hair off furniture.

LED: Yes

DUST CUP CAPACITY: The Tineco s12 Plus dust cup holds about .6 liters, which isn’t bad, but certainly doesn’t break any records. There are also some reports of pet hair getting stuck in the dust cup because of the size/design.

NOISE LEVEL: Despite the impressive power, this vacuum is relatively quiet. It may not be the aboslute quietest cordless vacuum available, but it does better than many.

WEIGHT: Not the heaviest cordless out there, but still heavy enough at around 6.6lbs.

PRICE: There’s no denying it, you’ll be spending some cash to get this feature-rich cordless vac. It’s comparable to Dysons in the same class. See price here

See more details here

  • This is comparable to (and even beats out) Dysons in terms of power.
  • It has an impressive runtime of almost 2 hours (with multiple batteries.)
  • It’s the right size to be used in the car, and has the power to do an admirable job cleaning up dirt and pet hair.
  • It’s relatively quiet, especially compared to similar vacuums with the same or similar power.
  • The dust cup is average, and it would be nicer if it were a bit bigger for a vacuum that has such a long runtime potential.
  • The weight is pretty average, but may be more than some want in a cordless vacuum.
  • High-end vacuums beget high-end prices, this is no exception. You can expect to spend several hundred dollars for this machine.

See a comparison of the different Tineco S12 models here.

7. BISSELL ICONpet™ Cordless Vacuum

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

A tangle-free brush to handle pet hair, a long runtime, cleaning pet hair off furniture and in the car, allergies.

TANGLE-FREE BRUSH: The Bissell ICONpet lives up to the name by prioritizing homes with pet hair. The tangle-free brush head design does a very respectable job of keeping pet hair from wrapping around the components.

RUNTIME: This pet vacuum can be used for up to 50 minutes at a time, which is on the high end for stick vacuums.

CAR-FRIENDLY: The ICONpet breaks down into a handheld vacuum and comes with a motorized pet tool, which makes it even better for owners that take their pets on car rides.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: Although this doesn’t have a HEPA filter, it does have a very good filter and a fully sealed system, so it is still a good option for those worried about allergies.

LED: Yes.

PRICE: This is pretty smack-dab in the middle as far as price goes, generally around $300-$350. See price here

WEIGHT: 7 lbs. For vacuums in general, not terrible, but for a cordless stick vacuum, lighter is better.

DUST CUP CAPACITY: .4 liters. For a vacuum that can run a pretty long time on one battery charge AND handles pet hair so well, it would be nice to see it be able to handle more debris. This one will probably need to be emptied as you go.

See more details here

  • It’s great to see a vacuum made for pet owners with things like a tangle-free brush.
  • The runtime is very respectable, but if you have a lot of pet hair and a big house, you’ll probably need to empty to bin at least once.
  • Even without a HEPA filtration system, the Bissell ICONpet is a good choice for those with allergies.
  • It’s definitely not a budget vacuum, but you get plenty of function for this medium-priced unit.

8. Dyson V11 Outsize

V11 Outsize image from Dyson.com

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Pet hair and dirt – lots of it. Bigger homes, longer runtime, allergies.

DUST CUP SIZE: .5 gallons. This dust cup is MASSIVE at a full half-gallon. It’s considered “full-size” which is awesome to have in a cordless vacuum, especially for those working with lots of pet hair and dirt that your pets bring in from their runs in the yard.

RUNTIME: Up to 120 minutes – with the combined time of 2 batteries, both of which are included with the V11 Outsize. Even just one battery lasting 60 minutes puts this vacuum in a top spot for this feature.

DETACHABLE BATTERY: As mentioned in the runtime, there are 2 batteries included with the V11 making it a great choice for bigger areas or messier jobs.

POWER: If you’re looking for a powerful vacuum to really get all that pet hair, dust, and dirt, the V11 Outsize blows away the competition. It has significantly more suction power than almost any other cordless vacuum when using max mode.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: HEPA and a fully sealed filtration system mean this vacuum is a great pick for people worried about allergies.

CAR-FRIENDLY: Pretty much all the vacuums on this list can be described as car-friendly, but the V11 Outsize doesn’t get a top spot for this simply due to the size of the dust container. This doesn’t mean it can’t be. used in the car, but it’s going to be bulkier than the average handheld versions.

WEIGHT: The Dyson Outsize might not be as heavy as you’d think at 7.85lbs, but it’s still fairly heavy for a stick vacuum.

PRICE: This is where the Outsize takes a pretty hard hit. It’s an expensive vacuum. You get a lot for what you pay for, but you pay for it. See price here

NO LIGHT: Spending this kind of money on a vacuum, a searchlight really seems like something that should be included.

LOUD: You get the power, but you also get the noise. The V11 Outsize can get very loud on max.

See more detailed review here

  • The size of the dust cup and the potential runtimes make this vacuum ideal for larger places, or where you expect to clean up significant amounts of debris in each vacuum session.
  • Dyson is very good at handling allergens, so if you’re allergic to pet hair, this could be a great option.
  • It is car-friendly, but because of the extra dust cup size (and the extra weight that adds) you might find it’s a little too clunky for the everyday car cleanup.
  • It does come with a motorized brush tool that is useful for getting fur/hair off of furniture.
  • This is not the vacuum for the person worried about noise. If noise really bothers you, your neighbors, or your pets, look elsewhere.
  • The price point is right up near the tippy-top for cordless vacuums, and although you definitely get some awesome features, it’s not a budget pet vacuum by any stretch of the imagination.

9. Dyson V8 Absolute Cordless

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Car-vacuuming, allergies, hard floors, longer runtimes.

CAR-FRIENDLY: Although cordless Dysons do improve with each new version, the older versions have a slightly smaller dust cup that’s positioned on the handle in a more compact way than the newer ones. This positioning makes it great for cleaning small spaces like cars.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: The V8 Absolute has a fully-sealed HEPA filtration system, so if you’re worried about allergies it has you covered.

HARD FLOORS: The V8 Absolute comes with the Soft roller brush head, which is specifically made for hard floors. This attachment really ups the value of the vacuum overall if you have hard floors, and even improves performance with pet hair.

RUNTIME: Up to 40 minutes of use puts this among the top performers for cordless vacuums in terms of runtime.

EASY-EMPTY BIN: This series of Dysons has a hygienic emptying mechanism so you don’t have to dig debris out of the vacuum.

WEIGHT: Slightly less than 6lbs (5.75lbs) so not the lightest, but definitely a good option for those worried about carrying around a heavy vacuum.

CUP CAPACITY: This Dyson has a decent dust cup size at a little more than .5 liters, so it will get the job done, but if you have a large area to cover or extra pet hair it may not be the best choice.

PRICE: Since this is an older version of the Dyson series, it’s a little less expensive but still no bargain. See price here

NO LIGHT: At the higher price, it would be great to get a searchlight option

See more details here

  • The size and design of the handheld version of the V8 Absolute makes it ideal for cleaning the car
  • The Absolute soft roller brush is excellent for cleaning hard floors, so if you have very little carpet it’s a great option
  • It runs long enough to get through larger homes
  • If you have a larger home AND a lot of pet hair, you might want to consider a different vacuum because the dust bin will probably need to be emptied along the way
  • Keep in mind this is among the more expensive cordless vacuums on this list, but you might be able to find a deal since it’s an older version

10. Tineco A11 master+

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Large spaces, hard floors, car vacuuming, versatility.

CAR-FRIENDLY: This turns into a very compact handheld vacuum that can easily be used to vacuum your car. The car cleaning ability is enhanced by the small motorized brush head which is also included.

HARD FLOOR: This model comes with a soft head attachment which is great for hard floors, and also pet hair.

RUNTIME: The A11 Master comes with 2 batteries, which is why they can boast about their runtime of 50 minutes.

LED: This vacuum does include searchlights on both brush heads.

DUST CUP CAPACITY: The Tineco A11 Master has a decent sized dust cup at .6 liters, but if you’re doing heavy-duty cleaning with lots of pet hair it may need to be emptied.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: This cordless vacuum has a decent filtration (4-step, fully sealed) system to keep pet allergens contained, but it doesn’t use a HEPA filter, which is a bit disappointing.

PRICE: This is a middle of the road option as far as price is concerned. You get a lot of accessories and functionality with this vacuum for the price. See price here

WEIGHT: 5.5lbs is a good weight, just not the best.

See detailed review here

  • This is a good overall middle-of-the-road choice. It’s powerful enough to handle pet hair, has a motorized tool included (great for stairs, furniture, and cars) has decent allergy precautions, and isn’t insanely expensive.
  • There are lights on both brush heads to help you see extra hair and debris.
  • You can a really nice assortment of accessories to help you clean.
  • If you have a lot of pet hair, or longer pet hair, dust bin capacity is always something to look at, and this isn’t the biggest available.
  • It is fairly lightweight, but if you’re very concerned with weight there are lighter options.

Want more details? Check out this review.

11. Dyson Cyclone V10

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

High powered suction for short bursts, carpet, large homes, allergies, lots of pet hair.

ALLERGY-FRIENDLY: Like many other Dysons, this has a sealed HEPA filtration system with a washable filter.

POWER: On max power, this vacuum is very impressive. If you need a vacuum that can really crank up the power this is a good choice, just keep in mind it really cuts down on your time allowance. On low power, it’s actually fairly comparable to the V8.

RUNTIME: This cordless vacuum can run for up to 1 hour – which is amazing. Although the amount of time you get out of it does depend on power mode and the attachments being used.

CAR-FRIENDLY: This does break down into a handheld vacuum with excellent suction, so it’s a great option for cleaning out the car.

DUST CUP CAPACITY: This has a pretty big dust cup measuring at a little under 1 liter (over 1 liter is exceptional for cordless vacuums.) This is the type of capacity that is great for houses with longer/fluffier dog hair.

WEIGHT: 5.9lbs – not too heavy, not too light, some might say it’s just right. It’s a good weight, but one of the perks of cordless vacuums is super lightweight.

PRICE: As with many Dyson vacuums, this one really stretched the wallet. You’re probably looking at somewhere between $400-$500 for one of these. See price here.

See detailed review here

  • This has a large dust cup (although not the largest on this list) which makes it ideal for larger homes or places with a lot of hair or debris. Combine this with runtime and you’re golden.
  • The pairing of cordless and strong suction is great for cleaning your car, the only thing to be aware of for this is the larger dust cup. You might find the dust cup a hindrance in tight spaces.
  • As one of the pricier vacuums you can expect a really solid build and quality performance, but you need to be ok with shelling out some cash.

12. Orfeld Cordless RB666

Choose this vacuum if your priorities are:

Budget, small cleanups, car cleanup.

PRICE: Best price among the stick vacuums on this list! This vacuum is a literal mix between a stick vacuum and handheld vacuum, and the price reflects that. See price here

BATTERY LIFE: This little budget vacuum has an impressive battery life of up to 40 minutes.

CAR-FRIENDLY: The handheld part of this vacuum is simple, with a narrow end that can fit easily into the smaller areas of your car, especially with the help of attachments.

LED: Yes

WEIGHT: At 5.5lbs this vacuum is on the low end of average for lightweight cordless vacuums.

FLOOR TYPE AND HAIR PICKUP: This minimal vacuum does best on hard floors but can be used on low-pile carpet as well. It will pull hair up on hard floor the best, but does have a brushroll to help dig hair out of carpet.

POWER: The power of this cordless is about 120 watts, which puts it right up against some of the higher ranking choices, like the Moosoo 618A. Not bad for a cordless vacuum under $100.

REMOVABLE BATTERY: This unit does not have a removable battery, so once it dies you will have to wait for it to recharge.

LACKS PET-SPECIFIC ATTACHMENTS: Although it does come with some extra attachments, this vacuum does not have tools made specifically for pets.

  • This is a great budget vacuum if you’re looking for something that can handle a quick cleanup
  • It can be used as an upright or a handheld and is ideal if you have a small apartment
  • It’s not the most lightweight vacuum, but 5.5lbs isn’t terrible
  • It can be used to clean up some pet hair, but you’ll probably find it works best on hard floors
